Our Programming
As of January 2026, we understand our system to be programmed - that is, that many aspects of its structures and headmates were put there by an abuser via abusive methods, and we were trained to switch or do things in response to cues.
It took us a long time to even fully suspect we were programmed, despite how complex our system was. We knew that systems are usually only that complex with programming or similar forms of abuse, but since our therapist believed that, based on what we'd told her of our childhood, it was unlikely we'd experienced organized abuse, we didn't think about it much.
However, it was a conversation we had with a programmed system on January 6, 2026, that caused us to understand that programming can occur outside the context of organized abuse and that it doesn't always follow a rigid pattern.
Since then, we have immersed ourselves heavily in "information" about programming and RAMCOA, a word we put in quotes due to how much misinformation there is and how, frustratingly, that misinformation can still be relevant to how programming occurs in real life, such as when people (such as our own programmer) copy the content of conspiracies.
This part of our site has several pages that have more information about our programming and our experiences as a programmed system. It is subject to being added to.
