Cherry Dreams
Cherry Dreams - named after the text on a popular blinkie - started out as Venn's subsystem, based on BPD-based identity disturbances as well as headmates Venn was intentionally trying to split related to those identity disturbances.
While they are not directly connected to trauma we don't remember and do not consider themselves to have existed prior to 2024, some of them are very similar to people we knew online in the 2000s, particularly Chem (who was similar to an old friend called Gerry). They have two layers - the Betelgeuse Layer (which is based around Venn, a Betelgeusian alien fictive) and the Irk Layer (which is based around Dag, an Irken (Invader ZIM) alterhuman). It is possible that Dag's layer is actually older than the rest of the system and might become a separate sidesystem from an amnesiac cluster.
A lot of Cherry Dreams have a baseline level of interest in kink and dark fictional topics, but they don't tend to make it a big deal, and they tend to focus more on managing our online social life and our internet-based hobbies.
