Slaughterhouse Labyrinth
Slaughterhouse Labyrinth is a part of the system that is believed to have come into existence around 2018, when we had fully realized we had violent and angry tendencies that made us worry we might turn out to be violent in the future.
The timelines of the members of the Knife Party layer are all worst-case scenarios of how someone like us could turn out. Their stories usually involve extreme physical violence that they committed, and they have a variety of motivations.
The layer Killing Jar, however, are not people who actually did anything physically violent in their timelines but who either have violent ideation or have some other complex relationship to violence.
Unsurprisingly, this sidesystem is associated with the more violent kinks of the system (e.g. deathplay/murder kink). It is also associated in general with finding alternative outlets for violent desires. While the sidesystem itself as an amnesia group came about due to compartmentalization of those desires, its first member (Fields) was apparently created intentionally in 2005 or so.

Dr. Lester therefore has a role in which they are an innerworld therapist who helps headmates who see themselves as "extreme cases".
