Shining Coast
Shining Coast is a sidesystem that split in response to our move in 2025 from one part of California to another part of it. This caused a lot of mixed but mostly positive feelings, as well as a lot of new responsibilities, including being fully responsible for every aspect of our our everyday lives.
Shining Coast manage those responsibilities, as well as aspects of identity that we both took on and left behind during or after the move. They view their collective identity and roles as very influenced by nature and food.
The two layers of this sidesystem are the Cabin and the Town. The Cabin is owned by Scott and is in the forest that makes up Shining Coast's headspace, and the Town is a small forest town you can drive to from the Cabin.
