Pixel City
Pixel City first became known to us in 2025, but Tanya remembers it coming to exist much earlier than that - most likely around or before the year 2000. Our internet use was somewhat unrestricted at the time, even though we were very young, and Tanya remembers us seeing something disturbing online that caused some parts of the system to fear the internet and that caused a degree of amnesia associated with it.
That amnesia took the form of Pixel City, a pixel art-style city with some permanent residents but where most of the population of the system does not reside and that, in the old days, headmates had to travel to in headspace in order to access the computer. The sidesystem is led by Circuit, a computer object head who represents our home computer when we were a child, and is mostly populated by Neopets and Pokemon, most of whom have not been discovered yet.
However, virtual creatures are not the only inhabitants of Pixel City. There are also technological headmates like robots or more personified computers, and headmates would often move to or split in Pixel City if their roles or memories involved the internet.
