✧ Both Venn's self-ship with Norman and Strangelove's self-ship with Ford feature characters who had romantic relationships with family members where those relationships are somewhat romanticized but mostly presented as past regrets of theirs.
✧ The necrophilia in the Norman self-ship is presented as a disordered condition that a member of Norman's system acted on in the past and that he now copes with through kink.
✧ The Zaphod self-ships are incestuous and are had by fictives of Zaphod's cousin. One AU of Vyvian's self-ship with Norman involves pseudo-incest (in that it involves a queerplatonic relationship between two unrelated people who had previously declared a sibling-like relationship).
✧ Additionally, the Withnail self-ship has AUs in which necrophilia is acted on and romanticized. Venn has a version of eir self-ship in which Withnail kills and has sex with em, and Stigmata's self-ship involves Withnail dying and Stigmata keeping the corpse platonically and non-sexually.
✧ The Copia self-ship (and, by extension, our interpretations of the Ghost universe) features an occult ritual in which a person, usually with consent, is sacrificed and their corpse used in sex magic.
✧ Unless we know you to be comfortable with these topics, we will ask before discussing any of these things in our self-ships and/or content warn them if talking about them in a public setting.
✧ Furthermore, where it comes to darker or abusive themes, they are not part of our relationships with our ficto partners outside of simulating these things in certain kinks. In other words, some things about our self-ships versus the actual relationships we have with fictional characters remain separate.
✧ Any of our self-ships where we imagine the F/O as part of our everyday life is subject to featuring things that we've experienced in this life. For our comfort level, we have not specified every F/O with whom we explore those themes.
